Patricia Whereat Phillips

Patricia Whereat Phillips is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw. She studied biology at Oregon State University and linguistics at the University of Oregon. She writes extensively about tribal language, story, and ethnobotany.
